Dehradun: Eight people, including seven Nepalese nationals, died after their vehicle fell into a 150-feet deep gorge in Nainital district of Uttarakhand on Tuesday. Police gave this information.

He said that two Nepali citizens were injured in the accident that took place near Betalghat.

After receiving information about the accident, the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) team reached the spot. The SDRF team along with local people and police personnel retrieved eight bodies. Police said that the injured were taken to the hospital.

There were nine Nepalese nationals in the vehicle, all of whom were residents of Mahendranagar. They were on their way home when the accident occurred. It was told that among those who died, driver Rajendra Kumar was a resident of Betalghat.
