Filmmaker and art director Omung Kumar, who has always designed the 'House' for the controversial reality show, said each element has been carefully chosen to evoke intrigue and surprise.

Talking about the idea behind the new design, Kumar told IANS, “We wanted the 'Bigg Boss OTT 3' house to be incredibly unique and vibrant. As a designer, I believe in the magic of transformation. “Following the success of last year’s ‘sustainability’ theme, this season posed a new challenge to create something equally captivating.”

Kumar and production designer Vanita Garud have given a new twist to the House. At the entrance, two enormous anonymous statues that guard the house welcome the companions. Dragons protect the premises, while the two-sided walls show different faces on each side, adding to the illusory charm of the House.

The theme of locks and keys permeates the decor throughout the house.

The bedroom, designed as the theater of a fantasy world transported in time, evokes the charm of backgrounds cut out with silhouettes. The beds are uniquely located to encourage interaction and bonding between housemates.

The kitchen resembles a picturesque vineyard, with stone walls and extravagant wine barrels, creating a cozy yet fun atmosphere. A large bridge connects the living room and the storage room, suspended over a water-printed rug.

"In keeping with our theme, our goal was to offer an experience unlike anything seen before. Our design choices, from the incorporation of keys and locks to the introduction of large dragons and two-sided walls with different faces, contribute to the magical atmosphere “Keys and Locks are my personal favorites.”

Kumar is now looking forward to the reaction of the contestants of the show which will be hosted by Anil Kapoor.

“Each element was carefully chosen to evoke intrigue and surprise. I am delighted to see how the contestants interact and get inspired by this imaginative space,” said Kumar.

'Bigg Boss OTT 3' will air on JioCinema Premium starting June 21.
