Thane: The security wall of a housing society collapsed amid heavy rain in Thane's Vartak Nagar on Monday. A civil officer gave this information.
There were no casualties in the incident that occurred at Kokani Pada at 11:30 am, said Yasin Tadvi, head of Thane Municipal Corporation Regional Disaster Management Cell.
"The 40 feet by 45 feet protection collapsed. The local fire brigade and RDMC personnel removed the debris. The area has been barricaded," he said.
