Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Jammu posted on Twitter late on Tuesday night, "A joint checkpoint of Army and Police has killed a terrorist in Chhattargala area of Doda. Firing is going on. More details will be given soon."
It is being told that some people have been injured in the encounter. However his identity was not confirmed.
Officials said that the injured were brought to Bhaderwah sub-district hospital.
