"Scuderia Ferrari HP has announced that Enrico Cardile is leaving the company, hence leaving his role as Technical Director (TD) of the chassis area.

After almost two decades with Ferrari, Cardile has handed in his notice, and so, with immediate effect, and as an interim measure, the chassis area will be overseen by Team Principal, Frédéric Vasseur.

Everyone at Scuderia Ferrari HP thanks Enrico for so many years of hard work,'' ongoing talks with Aston Martin as the British carmaker hopes to compete at the top of the grid.

Cardile's appointment to Aston Martin is the result of the team's extensive recruitment efforts. The team recently revealed that former Mercedes F1 engine chief Andy Cowell will become its group CEO in October.

Furthermore, the team has a strong chance of securing the services of the design legend. Adrian Newey is considering his options after announcing he will leave Red Bull in 2025.
