Indore, Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia on Thursday mocked Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge's statement about change of power in the country after the declaration of Lok Sabha election results on June 4, claiming that everyone has the right to dream.

Earlier in the day, Kharge expressed confidence that people will give a mandate to an alternative government on June 4 and said the Indian bloc will form an inclusive and nationalist government by securing a clear majority.

"Every person and every party has every right to dream. People have given their mandate. 140 crore people of the country have expressed unwavering faith in the capable leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi," Scindia told reporters here.

The Union Minister said that under the leadership of Modi, the Bharatiya Janata Party and the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will create a new record of election victory.

On Tamil Nadu Congress's objection to PM's meditation program in Kanyakumari, the Union Minister said, "Congress always has objections on religious topics. It is surprising why Congress never objects to itself.
