The Saudi Foreign Ministry said in a statement that Riyadh "condemned the continuing massacre carried out by the Israeli occupation forces against the Palestinian people by targeting the tents of defenseless Palestinian refugees in Rafah."

The ministry said the state was holding Israel "fully responsible for what is happening in Rafah and the entire occupied Palestinian territories, while also condemning what it called "violations of humanitarian resolutions, laws and norms." Continuous open violations have been reported.

Several Arab countries have condemned the Israeli attack on Sunday on tents housing displaced people near Rafah, reportedly killing 45 people.
