He said that there is hypocrisy within the NC and their changing alliances have different views depending on the position of power.
“When the NC is in alliance with the BJP and the 'tourist prince' makes his saffron debut by becoming the first Kashmiri to be inducted into the BJP-led Union Cabinet, that is what we call a good BJP. And it is great to be the poster boy of a good BJP. When the NC is snubbed, and is not entertained by the BJP - that is bad BJP,'' Lone said.
On Shiv Sena supporting NC in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections, Lone once again criticized Omar Abdullah on the issue of "good" Shiv Sena and "bad" Shiv Sena.
“When NC was in alliance with Shiv Sena in NDA or in the current Indian alliance they are good Shiv Sena. However, when NC is not in alliance with Shiv Sena, it is termed as bad Shiv Sena. Who for that matter is staunchly communal, fundamentalist Hindutva and certainly the main planner and executor of the bloody Mumbai riots, where hundreds of Muslims were killed,” Lone said.
