Dehradun: Renowned Hindustani classical singer Padma Bhushan Sajan Mishra, his son Swaransh and poet and comedian Surendra Sharma will perform at an event here.

The organizers said that for the first time, Jashn-e-Adab Literary Festival Jashn-e-Adab Cultural Caravan Heritage is being organized in Dehradun by Jashn-e-Adab in collaboration with the Union Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

Several musicians, poets and actors will participate in the two-day event starting June 28, including Faisal Malik, who shot to fame playing "Prahlad Cha" in the popular Hindi web series Panchayat.

Malik will participate in a panel discussion on the topic “Diverse Colors of OTT” at the event, which will feature vocal performances by renowned qawwali singer Sarfaraz Anwar Sabri, ghazal singer Sanawar Ali Khan and poet Kunwar Ranjit Chauhan.

The program will be held in an auditorium located on Haridwar Road and entry will be free.
