New Delhi, Call management CRM Runo on Monday said it has raised US$1.5 million (about Rs 12 crore) in a pre-Series A funding round led by Unicorn India Venture and Calapina Capital.

The company said it plans to use the capital to add senior employees and expand in the MENA region, the US and Canada.

"Runo plans to use the funds raised primarily to add a senior management team to product and development. Additionally, investments will be made in the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region and in the United States and Canada. "Will facilitate the company's expansion plans." Said in an official statement.

Rajshekhar Patnaik, founder and CEO of Runo, said the company is targeting 7% revenue growth in the next 8 quarters and will double down on distribution and go-to-market strategies for the next 2 quarters.

Runo aims to reach annual recurring revenue (ARR) of US$2.5 million (approximately Rs 21 crore) million within the next 12-18 months, the statement said.
