Guwahati (Assam) [India], The 8th edition of Rongali Utsav in Assam will be held from 21st to 23rd June at Khanapara Ground, Guwahati.
According to the organisers, Rongali is a platform that aims to showcase Assam as an ideal destination for investment, tourism and trade and promote harmony in the state. A major exhibition of Assam products will be the major attraction.
Rongali will showcase a large canvas of the tribes and communities of Assam showcasing their way of life and culture. Rongali was started in 2015. It has become the biggest organized festival of Assam. We showcase the communities, tribes of Assam everywhere. It It is a platform for creativity.It is a platform for entrepreneurship. Over the years Rongali has produced most of the designers. Young musicians have got a platform in Rongali, which has helped in generating tourism in Assam. This time we are providing opportunities to the local people in Assam for entrepreneurship. Bringing the exhibition of products of Assam to the region, you get the feel of Assam in Rongali.Rongali Music Award will honor some of the outstanding musical talents of Assam, Rongali Entrepreneurship Award has been started to encourage the entrepreneurship culture of Assam.
