The makers of the upcoming series released a motion poster on Saturday, giving a glimpse into the dark and corrupt world of pharmaceuticals.

The motion poster features Riteish's voice, who can be heard saying: “We have the data of how many people die from which disease in this country. But there is no data on how many people are dying due to bad medicines. ,

The caption on JioCinema's Instagram handle read: “What is your medicine actually made of? 'Pill', streaming exclusively on JioCinema Premium from July 12."

The show will air on July 21.

In other news, Riteish will also be seen in 'Kakuda', a horror comedy, co-starring Sonakshi Sinha and Saqib Saleem.

'Kakuda' is based on the cursed village Ratori in Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh. In the film, every house in the district has two doors – one big and one small.

The plot revolves around a peculiar ritual whereby the small door of each house has to be opened every Tuesday at 7.15 pm. Failure to comply invites the wrath of Kakuda, who punishes the man of the house.

The film is directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, known for 'Munjya'.

Additionally, Riteish will direct and star in the historical action drama 'Raja Shivaji'. The bilingual film traces the journey of a young Shivaji, who rebels against powerful powers and becomes the revered King Shivaji, establishing Swarajya.

The epic saga will be presented in both Hindi and Marathi. The film's music will be composed by maestro Ajay-Atul, and Santosh Sivan will mark his debut in Marathi cinema as the film's visual storyteller.
