Differences of opinion could be felt between the representatives of the WBJDF and the state government after the formal meeting which started at 7.30 pm. On Wednesday, the discussions between the two sides on finalizing the minutes of the meeting were concluded in a little over two hours and continued for more than three hours after the conclusion of the meeting.

Finally, after 12.30 pm on Thursday, members of the WBJDF delegation finally came out of the meeting being held at the state secretariat, and pointed out how the state government was showing "reluctance" to record the minutes of the meeting and get signatures from all . "The meeting remained inconclusive" due to participants from both sides.

"The state government gave us a verbal assurance to fulfill some of our unresolved demands. But they refused to record it. The Chief Secretary has asked us to send a draft of the minutes of the meeting by email tomorrow (Thursday). " We will first go back to our protest site in front of the state health department headquarters in Salt Lake, hold a general meeting with all the protesters and then decide our next course of action,” a representative of the 30-member WBJDF delegation said. ,

Another member of the delegation said, "The outcome of the meeting was extremely disappointing because we only got verbal assurances. There was no written assurance."

Till the filing of the report, none of the participants from the state government involved in the meeting had given any response regarding the proceedings of the meeting.
