Sompeta village was engulfed in mourning on Friday as a crowd of relatives and acquaintances gathered at Lokanandam's house after they learned about his tragic death soon after returning to his workplace from his home town.

Lokanandam's mother was inconsolable, surrounded by relatives mourning her loss.

Recently, three migrant workers from the state died in a fire in Kuwait.

Lokanandam was the sole breadwinner in his family and Sompeta villagers have approached Union Aviation Minister K Ram Mohan Naidu for help in bringing back his body.

The mortal remains of Lokanandam, Satyanarayana and Eshwarudu are expected to reach New Delhi by Friday afternoon, after which they will be flown to Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada airports to be flown to their hometowns.
