Dharamshala, Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated Punjab Kings by 60 runs in an Indian Premier League match here on Thursday.

Star batsman Virat Kohli smashed 92 runs in 47 balls as Royal Challengers Bangalore posted 241/7 after being invited to bat first.

In reply, Punjab Kings were all out for 181 runs in 17 overs. Riley Rossouw scored 6 runs in 27 balls, while Shashank Singh scored 37 runs in 19 balls.

For RCB, Mohammed Siraj took three wickets for 43 runs, while Swapnil Singh, Lockie Ferguson and Karn Sharma got two wickets each.

Earlier, in-form opener Kohli got off to a bright start before Rajat Patidar (5 off 23 balls) along with his senior partner clean bowled the PBKS bowlers.

Cameron Green contributed 46 runs on 27 balls.
