New Delhi, Leading textile and fabric manufacturer Raymond plans to add more than 100 stores of its ethnic wear brand 'Ethnics by Raymond', the company said in its latest annual report.

Raymond, which introduced the ethnics format as a brand for occasions and celebrations a few years ago, now has over 114 stores.

The company intends to drive growth with 'Ethnics by Raymond' as it enters the fast growing segment of ethnic wear in India.

Chairman and Managing Director Gautam Hari Singhania, while addressing shareholders, said, “As Indian weddings are becoming more dazzling and people are celebrating different occasions, we have expanded our stores by taking Ethnics by Raymond across the country Is."

The ethnics business is already contributing to the topline of Raymond's branded apparel segment with its strong performance.

“Going forward, we will open more doors for the category and celebrate with India by adding over 100 new stores of Ethnics by Raymond in FY2025,” Singhania said.

Apart from the stores, the company is also expanding its "ethnic line under the Ethnics brand by Raymond", it said, adding that in FY24 the brand has added 53 stores to its network.
