Cannes [France], Rapper King recently made his debut at the 77th edition of the Cannes Film Festival.

King looked stunning as he walked the iconic red carpet wearing a stunning silk blazer by designer Anamika Khanna.
On attending the Cannes Film Festival for the first time, King said in a statement, "Cannes. Wow. It wasn't just about me, it was about representing all the talented Indian musicians there.Cannes felt like a turning point, a chance to show the world what Indian music could do. I wanted to wear an Indian design and bring a part of my country with me. The fabric and the work done on it gives you the proud touch of our talented handloom industry.”


Meanwhile, Sanjay Jaju, Secretary, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, for the first time hosted Bharat Parv, an evening to celebrate Indian cinema as well as India's rich culture, cuisine and handicrafts in the French Riviera. The event was organized by NFDC in collaboration with FICCI.A release said the event, under the auspices of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, was a resounding success, with Kane delegates fully immersed in the evening's extraordinary performances and delightful array of fusion cuisine, with over 250 delegates attending the evening, which included Indian culture, cuisine and cinema were showcased. On the global stage, the event also saw the unveiling of the poster for the 55th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) and the save-the-date poster for the inaugural World Audio Visual Entertainment Summit (WAVES). Sanjay Jaju, along with filmmaker Ashok Amritraj, Richie Mehta, singer Shaan, actor Rajpal Yadav and film legend Bobby Bedi officiated the unveiling ceremony, with chef Varun Totlani, who came especially for the occasion, preparing a menu which included Embodying the intrinsic warmth and hospitality of Indian culture, his culinary creations were a highlight. In the evening, attendees were treated to the diverse and delicious cuisine of India, the night was further enlivened by the performance of singer Sunanda Sharma, who delivered energetic Punjabi songs. They were also joined by rising singer Pragati Arjun and Shaan's son Mahi.
