Bengaluru, Kannada superstar Rakshit Shetty took to Instagram on Wednesday to introduce his co-star Charlie's newborn puppies.
Charlie starred alongside Shetty in the National Award-winning 2022 Kannada film '77 Charlie', directed by Kiranraj and produced by Paramavaha Studios. The heart-wrenching incident of an escaped Labrador not only won the hearts of the bitter Dharma played by Shetty, but also the pan-Indian audience.
"I always thought, if she becomes a mother, the story will be complete. I was eagerly waiting for her to become a mother," Shetty told her fans on her live feed.
Charlie lives in Mysore with her handler Pramod.
Shetty said, "I used to ask Pramod when she would have children and he always replied that he was not sure, because she was getting old."
According to Shetty, on May 9, Charlie gave birth to six puppies. "Five girls and one boy. So, I came all the way to Mysore to see her and her puppies," Shetty said.
