Jaipur: Three undertrial prisoners allegedly attacked a jailer in Bikane Central Jail. Police gave this information on Wednesday.
Bichwal police station in-charge Naresh Kumar Nirvan said that the incident took place on Tuesday night when prisoners Mohammad Sameer, Afrid Khan and Saleh Mohammad were returning from the jail hospital.
When jailer Suryanarayan Soni was on patrol, three prisoners attacked him over some issue. Following this, other inmates and jail guards intervened, the SHO said.
"The jail administration has registered a case against the three undertrial prisoners. Further investigation is underway,” he said.
