Jaipur (Rajasthan) [India]: The Special Operations Group (SOG) in Jaipur, Rajasthan has arrested three people for distributing fake degree certificates.

Police have arrested OPJS University founder Jogendra Singh, owner of MK University and Sarita Kadwasara, who was the treasurer and chairperson of OPJS University.

Giving details of the case, SOG DIG Paris Deshmukh, while speaking to ANI, said, "Three important arrests have been made in the fake degree case, including Jogendra Singh, founder of OPGS University, and Jitendra Yadav, former registrar of the university, who is currently the owner. MK University has been arrested. A woman named Sarita Kadwasara, who was the registrar and chairperson of OPGS University, which was about to open a university in Baran district, has also been arrested."

Speaking further, Deshmukh said, "They have also distributed degrees related to subjects which were not recognized by the agencies. They have distributed many degrees by breaking the rules of the government."

SOG DIG further said that about five people have taken government jobs by obtaining fake degrees. "More employees doing government jobs with fake degrees may be caught."

The officer further said that OPGS University was started in 2013 and these people have committed a lot of fraud. "These people have given many admissions, these people have prepared fake sports certificates, these people have placed their brokers everywhere," Deshmukh said.

Deshmukh said, "Despite not being recognized, they distributed degrees, many people are still doing jobs on the basis of fake degrees."
