Jaipur: Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma on Sunday said his government has fulfilled 45 percent of the promises made in the BJP's 'Sankalp Patra' before the elections.
He said empowerment of youth, farmers and women and welfare of the poor through policies and schemes are priority areas for his government.
Sharma said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the 17th installment of Kisan Samman Nidhi soon after assuming power in his third term.
He said that the country will be prosperous and happy only with the prosperity of farmers.
The Chief Minister was addressing the felicitation ceremony of Union Minister of State for Agriculture Bhagirath Chaudhary in Kishangarh.
He said that the Rajasthan government is working for the all-round development of all sections. "Our government has expedited work on the ERCP project considering the water needs of eastern Rajasthan," Sharma said.
He said that work is underway to materialize the Yamuna Water Agreement for Shekhawati and Dewas projects.
The Chief Minister said that MSP of Rs 2,400 has been provided to the farmers by giving a bonus of Rs 125 on the purchase of wheat.
