The highest minimum temperature was recorded in Alwar at 35.4 degrees Celsius. At other places the minimum temperature was recorded between 28.4 to 34.2 degrees Celsius.

An official of the Meteorological Department said that rain activities are likely to increase in some parts of eastern Rajasthan from June 24.

There is a possibility of a slight drop in the maximum temperature in the next 48 hours. The official said Bikaner, Bharatpur and Jaipur divisions may record maximum temperatures between 42-44 degrees Celsius, while some places may record hot nights.

Strong surface winds up to 40 kilometers per hour are likely in some parts of the state.
