Jaipur: The proceedings of the Rajasthan Assembly were adjourned for half an hour on Thursday afternoon after opposition members created ruckus demanding the resignation of Education Minister Madan Dilawar over his alleged controversial statement on tribals.

During Zero Hour, Congress and other opposition MLAs came to the well of the House and started protesting.

He also raised the issue of the FIR lodged against state Congress chief Govind Singh Dotasara and opposition leader Tikaram Juli during a protest in Kota a few days ago.

Many MLAs of the ruling BJP also moved towards the Well.

Speaker Vasudev Devnani repeatedly instructed the members to go to their seats but the uproar continued.

Since the House was not in order, the Speaker adjourned the House for half an hour.
