New Delhi, Jhansi Railway Board has set up an inquiry to find out the reasons behind the derailment of a coach of Geeta Jayanti Express while being brought from the yard to the station on Thursday.
Manoj Kumar said, “The train, which departs from Khajuraho daily at 6:35 pm for its destination station Kurukshetra, was being operated from the yard towards th station to board passengers when a coach, S- 2, derailed.", PRO, Jhansi Division (North Central Railway).
He said, "We have set up an investigation to find out the cause. Due to this accident, the train departed at 11 pm, about four and a half hours late from its scheduled departure."
