New Delhi, QMS Medical Allied Services on Friday said it has acquired 51 per cent stake in Sarathi Healthcare for Rs 450 crore.

Mumbai-based QMS MAS is engaged in the marketing and distribution of a wide range of medical products.

“The acquisition of Sarathi is a natural extension of our services and another step in our expansion plan. While QMS specializes in MAS patient diagnosis, Sarathi specializes in disease management leading to better disease outcomes which is essentially what we need for our customers. "Enables us to provide a comprehensive portfolio." Mahesh Makhija, CMD, QMS Medical Allied Services, said in a statement.

He said that this move will significantly increase the revenue and profitability of the company from the beginning of the next financial year.

Ranjita Vinil, Founder and CEO, Sarathi Healthcare, said the companies will move forward with collective strength in products and services.
