Bengaluru: Realty firm Purvankara Ltd on Tuesday said it has acquired 7.26 acres of land in Bengaluru to develop a Rs 900 crore housing project.

In a regulatory filing, the company informed about the acquisition of a land parcel in Hebbagodi, Bengaluru. It did not disclose the value of the deal and also did not share whether the company purchased the land directly or partnered with the landlord.

The salable area of ​​the project will be approximately 7.5 lakh sq ft, with a potential sales booking price or gross development value (GDV) of more than Rs 900 crore.

The company also recently announced the acquisition of 12.75 acres of land at Ghodbunder Road in Thane and Lokhandwala in Mumbai, which will have a total GDV of Rs 5,500 crore.

In a separate filing, the company said its subsidiary Provident Housing Ltd has bought the land owner's share in the Botanico project and the unit owner's share in the Capella project in Bangalore Rural, Karnataka. The total amount paid to acquire owner shares in both the projects is Rs 250 crore.
