The recovered drone was identified as a China-made DJI Mavic 3.

According to the official statement, the BSF intelligence team informed about the presence of a drone in the border area of ​​Tarn Taran district.

Acting immediately on the information, BSF along with Punjab Police launched an operation.

"During the search, at about 08:20 am, troops recovered a drone from the outskirts of Sanktra village in Tarn Taran district. The recovered drone was identified as a China-made DJI Mavic 3," the statement said.

"This successful operation is the result of coordinated efforts between #BSF troops and Punjab Police, reflecting the strong commitment to thwart illegal activities along the border," it said.

Earlier last week, BSF in collaboration with Punjab Police had recovered another China-made drone on the outskirts of Nowshera Dhalla village in Tarn Taran district.
