Pune, The mother of a 17-year-old boy who allegedly ran over two people with his expensive car has appealed to the police to 'protect' her as a video purportedly shows the boy , which claims how he survived. The incident went viral.

In a video message, the teen's mother insisted that the clip has nothing to do with her son and is fake.

“The video that is being circulated is not of my son. That is a fake video. My son is in the detention centre,” the teen's mother said in her message.

The mother cried as she showed her video message, appealing to the police to "protect" her son. She becomes unable to control herself and then walks away from the camera.

A rap song purportedly featuring a teenager claiming how he regained consciousness after a car accident went viral on social media, but Pune Police has clarified that it was a fake account and Kishore had no role in the video.

Later it was revealed that the rap video was of a social media influencer.

A Porsche car, allegedly driven by a 17-year-old boy, who police claim was drunk at the time, mowed down two motorcycle-riding software engineers in the city early Sunday, killing them.

The teen was produced before the Juvenile Justice Board (JJB), which granted him bail while asking him to write an essay of 300 words.

Following the uproar over quick bail and police review petition, the JJB on Wednesday sent Kishore, son of real estate developer Vishal Aggarwal, to observation home till June 5.

Police have also arrested the girl's father in the case.
