The MLA's wife Sonali P. Tanpure said on social media on Wednesday that she remembered "those days again" when the accused - son of a prominent realty developer from Pune - was studying in the same class with her son.

“At that time, my son had to suffer a lot at the hands of some of his (the builder's son) friends. I even complained to his parents about it, but did not get a proper response,” lamented Sonali.

Finally, left with no option, the Tanpure family decided to change their son's school to avoid further torture at the hands of other boys.

“The scars of those painful events are still on his (son's) mind. Had parents noticed their child's bad tendencies in time, such a horrific crime would not have happened,” said Sonali on the Porsche accident that shocked Maharashtra.

Her husband and Rahuri MLA Tanpure said that the act of whims of a rich man had ruined the lives of two young victims who had come from a small village with big dreams to achieve success in life.

In all this, Tanpure explains how, not only the boy and his rich family, but the entire system including the liberal home department, government and police are equally responsible for this tragedy.

“The authorities are committing the sin of destabilizing the social order by supporting influential big people. It is only because of the alert people present there and the pressure created by the citizens and the media that I am taking some effective action now,” said Prajakta Tanpure.

Sonali sought justice for the families of the two educated victims aged 2 years.
