New Delhi, Pump and valve maker KSB Ltd has reported 7.75 per cent rise in net profit to Rs 43.1 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2024.

The company said in a statement on Saturday that it had made a net profit of Rs 40 crore in the year-ago period.

The company considers January to December as its financial year.

The company's expenses during the quarter under review increased to Rs 483.3 crore from Rs 432.4 crore a year ago.

Sales revenue increased to Rs 544.2 crore from Rs 489.6 crore.

“This quarter we have seen consistent growth in sales revenue, which is 11. percent higher than the corresponding quarter of 2023. Prashant Kumar, Vice President, Sales and Marketing, KSB, said, “Our recent venture into the light water application of the nuclear plant segment highlights your ongoing expansion efforts.

The company has received a letter of award from the Maharashtra Energy Development Agency for a project worth Rs 63 crore under the PM-KUSUM scheme for installation of 2,500 solar water pumping systems.
