Puducherry, A political crisis involving the ruling AINRC-BJP coalition is brewing in the union territory, with a section of saffron party MLAs expressing displeasure against the government over issues such as corruption, and have called for the doors of national leaders with a plea to set things right before it "gets worse."

The opposition formed by the DMK and the Congress together has eight members.

The current development is also seen to have exposed internal differences in the BJP. There was also a demand from a section of the BJP that the high command should replace the party's state unit president S Selvaganapathy for his poor electoral performance.

Former Puducherry BJP president V Saminathan has openly demanded Selvaganapathy's removal.
