Turbat [Pakistan], Baloch Yaqzehti Committee (BYC) in a statement issued on Wednesday announced that the ongoing protest at Shaheed Fida Chowk in Turbat, Balochistan will continue until the victims of enforced disappearance are safely released. Would have been given.

BYC said that despite promises from the local administration regarding the safe return of the missing persons, there has been no response from the current authorities.

In a post on 'X', BYC said, "Eid has come and gone, but Baloch families continue to protest at Shaheed Fida Chowk Turbat demanding safe return of their loved ones missing since Eid. District Administration said that earlier they were given false assurances of the release of their loved ones, now no state authority has come forward to address their demands."

According to the BYC statement, the protesters include families of victims of enforced disappearances such as Nako Mayar's son Fateh, Arif's son Muslim, Faisal's son Jahanzaib, Nisar Karim, Dil Murad's son Rafiq, Miras Hussain and Jaan Mohammed. Allah Papa, everyone is missing since 2023.

BYC also called on the international community to show solidarity on the issue and demanded the release of all forcibly disappeared Baloch persons.
