'Waris Punjab De' chief and Sikh fundamentalist Amritpal Singh, currently jailed in Assam under the National Security Act, won the Khadur Sahib seat by 197,120 votes over his nearest rival, Congress candidate Kulbir Singh Zira.

While Amritpal Singh got 404,4300 votes, Jeera got 207,310 votes. Aam Aadmi Party's Laljit Singh Bhullar stood third with 194836 votes. BJP's Manjit Singh Manna stood fifth with 86,373 votes, followed by Shiromani Akali Dal's Virsa Singh Valtoha with 86,416 votes.

In the Faridkot (reserved) seat, Sarabjit Singh Khalsa, son of one of Prime Minister Indira Gandhi's assassins, won by 70,053 votes over his nearest rival, AAP's Karamjit Singh Anmol. While Khalsa got 298,062 votes, Anmol got 228,009 votes. Amarjeet Kaur Sahoke of Congress stood third with 160357 votes.

BJP's Hans Raj Hans stood fifth with 123,533 votes.
