New Delhi, The Chief Executive Officer (CEO Venkat Narayan K) of realty firm Prestige Estate Projects has resigned from the company to pursue his personal interests.
Venkat took over the role of CEO of Prestige Estates in August 2017. Overall, he served in this company for 20 years.
The company informed the stock exchange that Venkat has tendered his resignation from the CEO and committees of the board of the company with effect from the close of business hours on May 10, 2024.
The board accepted his resignation in the meeting held on Friday.
However, he will continue as a non-KMP (Key Managerial Personnel) till August 10, 2024 to complete the smooth transition.Before becoming CEO in 2017, Venkat also served as the company's Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary.
"After careful consideration, I have decided to pursue other interests, including setting up a real estate fund," Venkat said in his resignation letter.
Chairman and Managing Director, Irfan Razak said that the company has outlined its roadmap by appointing different business heads for each vertical and geography. Accordingly, Amit Mor is the CFO of the company.
Swarup Aneesh is Executive Director and CEO Residential Segment and Business Development; Jugi Marwaha, CEO Office Segment; Muhammad Ali, CEO Retai Segment; and Suresh Singaravelu, Executive Director and CEO Hospitality Segment.
Tariq Ahmed is the Executive Director and CEO West India.Faiz Rezwan, Executive Director, will oversee the overall construction and execution of the projects, including key aspects such as procurement, contracting and value engineering.
Executive Director Zaid Noman has been tasked with business development and will also oversee corporate finance and strategic investments. Executive directors Zai Sadiq and Omar Bin Jung will oversee the hospitality team.
Uzma Irfan, Director, is responsible for corporate communications, marketing and branding strategies.
