At the pre-release event of 'Kalki 2898 AD' held in Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], Prabhas shared his experiences of working with legendary actors Kamal Haasan, Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone.
The event was attended by the film's stars, including Kamal Haasan, Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas and soon-to-be mother Deepika Padukone.
Speaking at the event, Prabhas expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to work with such actors.
When host Rana Daggubati asked Prabhas about the experience of working with these superstars, Prabhas replied by thanking the makers for giving him the opportunity.
"First of all, I would like to thank Dutt garu and Naagi garu for giving me the opportunity to work with the greatest legends, it is bigger than a dream and I don't know what to say when I meet Amitabh sir for the first time. I met him and after touching his feet he said don't do this and if you do this then I will also do the same.
Prabhas praised Amitabh Bachchan, remembering how his uncles had emulated the actor's iconic hairstyle."We have grown up watching you; my uncles had your hairstyle; he is the first actor in the country who reached every part of the country like South, North, we all know in Telugu, in Tamil, we saw Amitabh Bachchan's Hair style and he is tall, any tall people they call Amitabh Bachchan."
Prabhas also shared a childhood memory about Kamal Haasan. He recalled asking his mother for a dress similar to the one worn by Haasan in the film "Saagar" and mentioned how Haasan's style influenced many people.
Mom-to-be Deepika Padukone looked stunning in a black outfit, while her co-stars Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan also wore black. Kamal Haasan and Rana Daggubati were also present in this program.Directed by Nag Ashwin, this post-apocalyptic film is inspired by Hindu scriptures and is set in the year 2898 AD.
The trailer shows that director Ashwin has re-imagined the Mahabharata from a futuristic perspective and added a dystopian touch to it.

The 21-second teaser begins with Big B making an appearance in a warm earthy tone.He was sitting in a cave, engrossed in the worship of a Shiva Linga. He was covered with bandages.
In the brief clip, a small child can also be seen asking Big B, 'Are you God, can't you die?' are you god? Who are you? To which his character replied, "I, Dronacharya's son Ashwatthama, have been waiting for the tenth incarnation since Dwapara Yuga." (I have been waiting for Dashavatar since Dwapar Yuga.)
This film is going to be released in theaters on June 27.
