Pune: Police have submitted their final report to the Juvenile Justice Board (JJB) here, detailing all the evidence against a 17-year-old minor allegedly involved in a Porsche accident in Pune's Kalyani Nagar last month, an official said. Is.

The police had filed a petition to allow the juvenile to be treated as an adult for the purpose of trial in the case. To support their case, the police have now handed over relevant evidence to the JJB, the officer said on Tuesday.

He said, “We have handed over all the evidence to JJB which proves that he was driving the Porsche car starting from his home on the evening of May 19 till the accident occurred.,

“The report includes corroborated statements of eyewitnesses who saw him driving the car, CCTV footage recovered during the investigation and evidence of his drinking at Kosi Restaurant and Black Club. In short, we have provided a comprehensive final report showing that the teenager was driving the car under the influence of alcohol and caused the death of two occupants,” he informed.

The crime branch officer said the report supports their plea to treat the juvenile as an adult for trial.

Meanwhile, investigation revealed that the teenager's blood samples, which were swapped with those of his mother, were disposed of as bio-medical waste at Sassoon General Hospital, he said.

The minor boy's mother and father, two doctors - Dr Ajay Taware and Dr Srihari Halnor - and a hospital employee, Atul Ghatkamble, are currently in jail for their alleged involvement in the blood sample swapping case.The police have also arrested two persons who had acted as middlemen between the doctors and the teen's father, a prominent builder, to facilitate the financial transaction for swapping blood samples.
