The victim in that case, Ajay Bhosale, a businessman-cum-politician and ex-Shiv Sena municipal councilor, told media persons that Surendra Kumar Aggarwal had allegedly ordered the attack on him through Chhota Rajan's henchmen in October 2009. , but he survived.

Surendra Agarwal had sought Bhosale's help in resolving a property dispute, but the latter refused to intervene, following which Surendra allegedly conspired to harass him.

The sensational case was initially investigated by the Pune Police before it was transferred to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

Bhosale said that although 15 years have passed since the incident, the case is still pending in the court and he is awaiting justice.

Responding to a question on the alleged underworld connections of the Agarwal family, Fadnavis assured that "whatever the connections are, they will be thoroughly investigated and action will be taken in the matter".

However, the 15-year-old case has no connection with the accident involving a Porsche car allegedly driven by a drunk minor boy on May 19, which killed two people from Madhya Pradesh and sparked outrage across the country.

This accident happened in the Kalyani Naga area of ​​Pune in the early hours of Sunday. The Porsche, which was driven at a speed of over 200 kmph, is believed to have hit the bike on which two techies from Madhya Pradesh were returning home after a party.

Both died on the spot.

Vishal Aggarwal has been sent to two days police custody till May 24. Three others arrested in the case have also been sent to police remand till Friday.
