Bhubaneswar, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday condemned the election speeches of his counterparts from other states and a Union minister, calling them "derogatory and insulting" and claimed that those "political tourists" have no influence on the people of his state. Does matter.

Over the past few days, several BJP chief ministers and Union ministers campaigned in the state and addressed a total of 14 rallies at various places across the state on Friday.



"Some chief ministers and Union ministers come as political tourists only at the time of elections and then disappear," Patnaik told ideologues.



The ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) chief claimed that the speeches of those political leaders and ministers have no impact on the people of Odisha.

Patnaik said, "And it is most unfortunate that many of them use abusive and derogatory language. I never believe in doing so and the people of our state do not appreciate such language."
