Bradford [England], Indian expatriates from Pakistan-occupied Jammu Kashmir (POJK) and Pakistan-occupied Gilgit Baltistan (POGB) living abroad protested outside the Pakistan Consulate in England on Wednesday.

The protest was organized demanding the immediate release of social activists and leaders arrested by the law enforcement agencies of POGB and PoJK.

During the protest a local member of the POGB and POGB diaspora in England said, "We are sitting here protesting for the rights of our brothers. POGB and POGB activists and local leaders have been arrested by law enforcement agencies and He has been arrested." Put in Mirpur jail.

“We demand that these activists be released effective immediately.Our people are peacefully demanding their rights, due to which we are being subjected to cruelty. We have lost some of our people during these protests, those people were innocent. We demand that those responsible for these atrocities be arrested and brought to justice." He added.Raising the issue of severe power cuts in PoJK and POGB, the same protestor mentioned that huge amount of power is produced in that area using available resources.

He further said, "We are not begging, but we are demanding what is ours and our people's. And, while suppressing our peaceful protests, the law enforcers are killing and brutally injuring our people. They must be the culprits of these heinous crimes." Another protester highlighted the atrocities faced by POGB and PoJK residents within Pakistan. He said that "For at least a year, our people are being brutally tortured within Pakistan.
