Kolhapur, Nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar) chief Sharad Pawar on Thursday criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying that his speeches were not based on facts and reality.

Speaking to reporters here, Pawar also alleged that PM Modi does not talk about the basic issues that people face and diverts their attention.

Pawar said, "I have never seen a Prime Minister whose speech is not based on facts and reality. He is satisfied by targeting me and Uddhav Thackeray."

Wondering why Maharashtra is voting in five phases in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections, he said, "It is because Modi can campaign here as much as possible...people who are in power are worried. Are."

He alleged that PM Modi's repeated remarks that if he came to power he would bring reservation based on religion, was an attempt to create social tension.

Pawar said, "We never said this. This is Modi's creation."

The veteran politician said Modi is also speaking about wealth redistribution and inheritance tax which has no mention in the Congress manifesto.

During the election campaign in the state, PM Modi targeted Sharad Pawar, saying, "Maharashtra has a 'wandering soul'. If it does not manage to succeed then it ruins the good work of others. Maharashtra is its victim." Used to be."

Pawar's NCP (SP) is contesting on 10 of the 48 Lok Sabha seats in Maharashtra, part of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance with the Shiv Sena (UBT), I on 21 seats and the Congress on 17 seats. But I am fighting.
