State BJP General Secretary Shravan Singh Bagri said that Prime Minister Mod will address a public meeting in Uniara area of Tonk district at 8.30 am on Tuesday.

Prime Minister Modi will appeal to the people to vote in support of BJ candidate Sukhbir Singh Jaunapuria from Tonk-Sawai Madhopur Lok Sabha seat.

BJP's Sukhbir Singh Jaunapuriya emerged victorious with 6,44,319 votes, defeating Congress candidate Namo Narayan Meena by 1,11,291 votes.

In the 2014 general elections, Jaunapuriya won again and got 5,48,53 votes, while Mohammed Azharuddin of Congress got 413,031 votes.

Tonk-Sawai Madhopur Lok Sabha seat is in discussion these days due to political rhetoric between Congress and BJP candidates.

Congress candidate Harish Chandra Meena, MLA from Deoli Uniara assembly constituency and former Lok Sabha MP from Dausa, criticized BJP candidate Sukhbir Singh Jaunapuriya for being an 'outsider'.

During an election campaign in Phulwara village of Bamanwas, Harish Chandra Meena asked people, "How can a person from Haryana come here and contest elections? If a man from outside wins then the respect is gone").

Meena also accused Jaunapuriya of getting the BJP ticket through monetary influence.

During a public meeting in Tonk's Dooni village, Jaunapuriya said that he would cause Meena's 'political death'.

Jaunpuriya said, "He (Meena) says, 'There will be a wrestling match on April 26. I am saying let's do it today itself. Both the brothers (former MPs Namo Narayan Meena and Haris Meena) can come; I am ready. " ,

He also asked, "Did you (Meena) ever let anyone sit in your car? You still have the ego of a DGP (Director General of Police)."

Meena has been a former DGP of Rajasthan.
