The PMO elaborated that during their meeting, the two leaders reviewed India-France bilateral relations with a focus on the 'Horizon 2047' roadmap and the Indo-Pacific roadmap.

The discussions included cooperation in defence, nuclear, space, education, climate action, digital public infrastructure, connectivity and cultural initiatives such as national museum partnerships and enhancing people-to-people ties.

They agreed to further intensify strategic defense cooperation with greater focus on 'Make in India'.

"The two leaders discussed ways to further strengthen the partnership, including in the areas of defence, nuclear, space, education, climate action, digital public infrastructure, critical technologies, connectivity and culture.They also exchanged views on major global and regional issues. ,” India's External Affairs Ministry said after the meeting.

They also agreed to expand cooperation in the fields of AI, critical and emerging technologies, energy and sports, working together in the context of the upcoming AI Summit to be held in France in 2025 and the UN Ocean Conference.
