PM Modi will remain in Rajasthan on Friday also. He will address a rally in Barmer and take out a road show in Dausa.

This time, BJP has fielded a woman leader by canceling the ticket of sitting MP Manoj Rajoria from Karauli-Dholpur seat. PM Modi is also focusing on women leadership and hence he is going to Karauli to support Indu Devi Jatav.

In 2019, BJP had won this seat by a margin of about 98,000 votes. In the assembly elections held last year, BJP had got less votes than Congress in a total of eight assembly seats of this Lok Sabha constituency. While Congress got 6,00,640 (41.28 percent) vote share, BJP got 5,79,801 votes (39.85 percent).

Hence, PM Modi's meeting is being held as a part of increasing the vote share on this seat, party sources said.

Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi will address his rallies in Anupgarh and Phalodi Jodhpur seats falling under Bikaner Lok Sabha constituency on Thursday.

BJP has won both Bikaner and Jodhpur Lok Sabha seats twice in a row. Jodhpur is considered the stronghold of former CM Ashok Gehlot, but in the assembly elections, BJP got more votes than Congress in the eight assembly seats here, whose number was around 1.23 lakh.

Similarly, in the assembly elections, Congress got less votes than BJP on eight seats of Bikaner Lok Sabha, which was around 60 thousand votes. This time the party has fielded new candidates in Jodhpur and Bikaner. Party sources said, therefore, Congress' focus will be on increasing its vote percentage on these two seats.

Congress has fielded Govind Ram Meghwal from Bikaner and Karan Singh Uchiard from Jodhpur.
