The Prime Minister will also personally meet 21 farmers at the farmers' meeting place in Mehdiganj area and will also see the agricultural products produced by the farmers.

During the tour, Prime Minister Modi will release the 17th installment of Kisan Samman Nidhi before interacting with the farmers.

This will be the Prime Minister's first visit to Varanasi after taking oath for the third term.

On this occasion, Prime Minister Modi will also honor 30,000 Krishi Sakhis. Of these, the Prime Minister will hand over certificates to five women farmers from Eastern Uttar Pradesh on the stage.

After landing here on Tuesday afternoon, Prime Minister Modi will address the farmers' meeting in Mehdiganj. After this he will leave to offer prayers at Kashi Vishwanath Temple and attend Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat.

After a night stay at BLW, he will leave for Delhi on Wednesday morning.

Police Commissioner Mohit Aggarwal and Divisional Commissioner Kaushal Raj Sharma said that all preparations for the Prime Minister's proposed visit have been finalized.

The Police Commissioner said that the briefing of the forces arriving in Varanasi for the Prime Minister's visit will be held on Monday afternoon.

Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will also participate in the program.

Kashi region BJP president Patel said that Prime Minister Modi will be warmly welcomed and felicitated with the slogan of Har Har Mahadev.

He told that farmers from far-flung villages will reach the Kisan Sammelan in buses, tractors and four-wheelers, while farmers from surrounding areas will join the Kisan Sammelan by marching on foot with drums.
