Maharashtra Chief Electoral Officer's office said the voting percentage will increase as information from 11 constituencies is still being collected.

258 candidates are in the fray in the third phase. Baramati has the highest number of candidates with 38 contestants, while Ratnagiri-Sindhudurg has the least number of candidates with 9 candidates.

There were 1.07 crore male and 1.02 crore female and 929 transgender voters in these constituencies.

The ongoing heat wave and summer holidays also adversely affected the turnout. Among the 11 constituencies, the much-polluted Baramati constituency where there was a high-intensity political fight between Sharad Pawar and Ajit Pawar recorded the lowest turnout of 50.80 per cent.

Of the other 10 constituencies, the highest turnout was in Kolhapur at 68.0 per cent, followed by Hatkanangale (65.10 per cent), Satara (63.05 per cent), Madha (62.1 per cent), Dharashiv (Osmanabad) (60.41 per cent), Ratnagiri-Sindhudurg (60.41 per cent).(59.2 percent), Raigarh (58.01 percent) and Solapur (57.61 percent).

In Kolhapur, the Congress has fielded Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj against Shiv Sena candidate Sanjay Mandlik, while in Hatkanangale, the Shiv Sena has again fielded Dhairyasheel Mane against Shiv Sena-UBT candidate Satyajit Patil. Apart from this, Swabhimani Shetkari Sangathan founder Raju Shetty and Vanchit Bahujan Aghad candidate D.C. Patil is also in the field.

In Satara, Chhatrapati Shivaji's descendant and BJP candidate Udayanraje Bhosal is facing off against NCP-Sharadchandra Pawar candidate Shashikant Shinde; In Dharashiv, there is a direct contest between Shiv Sena-UBT candidate Omraj Nimbalkar and NCP candidate Archana Pawar, while in Madha, sitting BJP MP Ranji Singh Naik Nimbalkar is taking on NCP-Sharachandra Pawar candidate Dhairashi Mohite-Patil.

Maharashtra NCP chief Sunil Tatkare is contesting against former Union minister and Shiv Sena-UBT candidate Anant Geete in Raigarh, while Congress candidate Pranit Shinde faces a direct contest from BJP candidate Ram Satpute.Ratnagiri-Sindhudurg, Union minister and BJP candidate Narayan Rane is contesting his first Lok Sabha election against two-time Shiv Sena MP Vinayak Raut.
