Prayagraj, Allahabad High Court has stayed the publication of any details of the affidavit filed by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission regarding the marks awarded to the candidates of the Judicial Services Civil Judge (Junior Division) (Mains) Examination 2022.

The case pertains to irregularities in the Judicial Services Examination, commonly known as PCS-J Examination 2022.

On Monday, the UPPSC Chairman filed a compliance affidavit regarding changes in marks of some candidates of PCS-J 2022 exam, in whose answer sheets wrong codes were allotted and due to which wrong marks were awarded.

The court then directed UPPSC to file its reply on the supplementary affidavit filed by the petitioner in the case.

A bench of Justices Soumitra Dayal Singh and Donadi Ramesh also directed not to release the certified or other copy of the facts stated in the compliance affidavit filed by the UPPSC Chairman.

“Any party violating the orders will be dealt with accordingly,” the court said in its order on Monday, a copy of which was made public on Tuesday.

Earlier, UPPSC had admitted before the High Court that it had made a mistake in allotting dummy roll numbers (codes) to the candidates during the main examination of PCS-J 2022 and that the result would be corrected which resulted in the exclusion of some selected candidates. will be given. Other candidates.

UPPSC had earlier said that to ensure anonymity of the candidates, fake roll numbers were allotted to them and while taking these steps, some mistakes might have been made and the paper of the present petitioner might have been changed with the paper of some other candidate.
