“Strongly condemn the horrific incident involving Haris Rauf. Such action against our players is completely unacceptable and will not be tolerated. Those involved should immediately apologize to Haris Rauf, failing which we will take legal action against the person responsible,” read the statement posted by Naqvi on X.

The incident took place in the afternoon when Rauf was seen walking with his wife. Rauf became angry at that man. The anonymous person seemed to have made the comment towards the player. Some onlookers stopped Rauf from attacking the man as he was moving towards him.

Even Rauf's wife tried to stop him, but the talented fast bowler managed to escape from her grip. The man and Rauf yelled at each other several times, but the spectators did a great job of keeping them from hitting each other.

Many cricketers have stood in support of the 30-year-old fast bowler.

“It is the fans' right to criticize us for our performance. We accept it and try to learn from it.It is not okay to personally attack someone in the presence of their family, it is unacceptable. How would you feel if someone personally attacks you while you are with your family? #HarisRauf @HarisRauf14,” read a tweet from Shadab Khan on X.

His teammate Hasan Ali also condemned fans being personal and urged them to be respectful towards players' families.

"I have seen a video circulating online about Harry @HarrisRauf and I urge all our dear cricket fans to remember that criticism can be constructive without hurting anyone. Let's keep the debate respectful and respect the families of the players. Take care of.Let's promote love, peace and respect for the game. We all want Pakistan cricket to grow, love you all,” Hasan Ali wrote on 'X'.

The Pakistan team is departing from the United States and some players are returning home while others will be holidaying in the United States and Britain. The players are currently in the process of recovering from the past two weeks, in which the former T20 World Cup winners were eliminated from the group stage of the T20 World Cup.
