After completing the shooting of 'Deva' with Shahid Kapoor and Pooja Hegde, Powell is preparing to master the skills of boxing for another action-packed film.
According to a source, the actor is devoting a lot of time to training in the boxing ring. This preparation is for an upcoming project that is expected to be announced soon and will be operational by the end of 2024.
“I am preparing to play a boxer in a film,” Powell confirmed. The film will go on floors by the end of this year so I need to spend good and a lot of time preparing. There have not been many action-centric films made in India with boxing at the centre. We have seen MMA, Muay Thai and many other things becoming popular. “Also as a sport, boxing is getting a lot of fans here.”
He further added, “So this film is the story of a man in this sport and his life. I'm excited, it's a winning story. And between preparing for Deva and staying fit, I have time to prepare and hone my boxing skills so that I look attractive on screen when we shoot."
