Ratnaprabha, mother of the deceased fan, told the media on Wednesday that Darshan should be banned from the film industry and his films should not be allowed to release in Karnataka.

Calling Darshan a villain, he said he is a thief and a criminal and his fans should know what a heinous crime their idol has committed.

Cursing the star, he said, "Darshan's son should also suffer the same fate as my son."

Renukaswamy's father Shivangouda said that Darshan could have informed him about the obscene message sent by his son to Pavitra Gowda and he would have reprimanded him.

“May God give Darshan the wisdom to never hurt anyone like my son in the future. My son's wife is pregnant. I am retired and how should he live his life?” He asked question.

Meanwhile, Karnataka Police continued questioning Darshan, Pavitra Gowda and 11 other accused in Renukaswamy's murder case for the second day on Wednesday.

Darshan, Pavitra Gowda and others were arrested on Tuesday and sent to six days' police custody.

Pavitra Gowda was kept in an observation center overnight, while other accused, including superstar Darshan, spent the night in a cell at Annapurneshwari Nagar police station in Bengaluru.

Bengaluru City Police Commissioner, B. Dayanand and DCP (West), S. Girish visited the police station on Wednesday morning, received information from the investigating officer and gave instructions for the case.

The investigation so far has revealed that Renukaswamy had allegedly sent a photograph of his private parts to Pavithra Gowda and claimed in the message that she was better than Darshan.Police sources said Pavitra Gowda shared it with one of the accused, Pawan, who informed Darshan, resulting in Renukaswamy's murder.

Police sources also said that Pavitra Gowda was called to the shed where Renukaswamy was kept and tortured. He was beaten with slippers.

Keeping the victim's point in mind, Darshan and his associates attacked his private parts.

Accordingly, the four men surrendered at the police station and claimed that they had committed the crime. However, when the police interrogated them separately, their statements diverged from each other and the police was successful in uncovering the truth.

Meanwhile, Darshan's first wife has unfollowed him on social media and also deleted her profile picture following these developments.

The first wife had criticized Pavitra Gowda for sharing pictures with Darshan and writing about their 10-year-long relationship.

Following a heated exchange on social media, a section of fans supported the first wife, while another section blamed Pavitra Gowda for destroying Darshan's family life.

Renukaswamy wanted Darshan to be with his first wife and son, so whenever Pavitra Gowda posted her pictures with the actor on social media, he targeted her.

Police sources said Darshan and his associates allegedly attacked Renukaswamy brutally, hitting him on his head, face, chest and back. The accused also cut off his nose, mouth and jaw. Burn wounds were found on the body, indicating the use of hot iron rods.

Sources claimed that more than 10 people, including Darshan, attacked Renukaswamy and threw him against the wall several times.
