Mustafa stressed the need for unity and cooperation during a meeting with UN officials, consuls and ambassadors in Ramallah, Xinhua news agency reported on Wednesday.

Mustafa urged international partners, donors and UN institutions to coordinate closely with the Palestinian Government to ensure a rapid recovery and address the urgent humanitarian needs resulting from the conflict in Gaza and its consequences in the West Bank.

He highlighted the Palestinian Authority's long-term responsibility to provide essential services such as health care, education, water and electricity to Gaza residents despite Israeli cuts from Palestinian funds.

Delegations from Egypt, the US, Qatar and Israel met in the Qatari capital Doha on Wednesday to restart Gaza ceasefire talks.

On Wednesday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reaffirmed his country's commitment to a potential ceasefire agreement during a meeting in Jerusalem with US President Joe Biden's Middle East special envoy Brett McGurk.

According to a statement from his office, Netanyahu assured McGurk of his "commitment to the deal as long as Israeli red lines are maintained."
